General Fellowship Meeting
General Fellowship Meeting is held every first Tuesday of the month and all members in BCS including children are members of this fellowship. This fellowship sees about the administration of the Bethel by organising ways of raising funds, taking care of her members needs both spiritual and material. The decisions affecting all BCS activities are taken in the General Fellowship Meeting and matters which have to do with external bodies are also carried out by the executive of the General Fellowship meeting.
Women Fellowship
Women Fellowship Meeting is held every Monday and is for all women including children who are female. The aims and objectives of women fellowship is to take care of the problems of women and the young girls in BCS. The elderly women are to teach the younger ones good behaviour and how to live peacefully with their husbands and how to behave at work showing good example wherever they are as women who has received lessons from God. They also raise fund to help the needy, orphans, widows, elderly and the workers of God and to extend the teachings they received to the members of the public by going out to preach.
Men’s Fellowship
Men’s Fellowship meeting is held every Tuesday; all men in BCS including children who are male are members of Men Fellowship. The aims and objective of Men fellowship is to take of the problems of men and the young boys in BCS. As men they have an obligation to take the yoke of God upon themselves by showing good examples in their families, place of work and teaching all young boys to live life worthy of emulation since they are children of God. Men’s concern is to propagate the word of God to all parts of the world. They also raise fund to see about the needy, the less privilege, the sick, and the elderly and printing of the Father’s gospels for circulation.
Choristers Fellowship
Choristers Fellowship is one of the most important fellowships in BCS because they spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through songs. They are mostly young brothers and sisters who have devoted their lives to the services of God. Their aims and objective as already said is to write new songs and sing to the glory of God, and to live exemplary life as befits youth of the Kingdom of God. They produce spiritual songs that heal the soul and give peace and happiness to the broken hearts. Their songs are new and out of this world anyone who listens to them must have testimonies. Their duties include visiting Old People’s Homes to sing and give relief to those who are weary and weak in spirit.
Spirited Children Fellowship
Spirited Children Fellowship is another important Fellowship which the Father is using to reveal His glory. As the name implies all members of BCS are members of Spirited Children Meeting. God reveal BCS to many brethren through Spirited children fellowship by way of vision, prophecy, dreams and healing. The fellowship fast and pray on behalf of the whole world every third Friday of the month which is also the day of their monthly meeting. During the meeting healing service is always conducted and the Father always reveals visions to His children and healing power is always descending. The spirited children during their meetings donate generously money, food iteSms, detergent, dresses and shoes, these items are distributed to the less privilege, widows, elderly and the destitute. They visit brethren at home and pray for both members and non-members, they as well go on streets, towns and cities to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mercy Fellowship Meeting
Mercy Fellowship meeting is held on the fourth Friday of every month. The duties of Mercy Fellowship includes caring for the needy, orphans, supporting the weak ones and comforting those in distress by finding ways to give them relief. Mercy Fellowship also supports other charitable organisations by donating some money to them monthly for their projects. They also visit the sick and the weary in their afflictions.
All Ordained One Fellowship
All Ordained ones are those who have been ordained as Pastors, Apostles, Prophets, Deaconesses, and Prophetesses by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, they have their meetings once in a month. The main duty of the All Ordained is to spread the good tidings of great joy to the whole world that the Comforter has come all should repent for salvation. They are to teach not only by preaching but by practical examples for this will show them as good shepherds. The All Ordained ones apart from the spiritual aspect of duties they also have a lot to do materially in BCS. Their aim is to see the growth of BCS both spiritually and materially, some of them single-handedly erect a Bethel for BCS some through collective contribution either buy or build a Bethel for BCS. Contribution in BCS is done by everybody according to his/her ability, so people willingly donate for the building of the Kingdom of BCS due to the love of God in every individual. They plan and undertake ministries to different countries of the world to open more Bethels and spread the good news of the Kingdom.
Children Fellowship
Children Fellowship holds their meeting on every first Saturday of the month. On the first Saturday of the month all children undertake 6.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon fasting praying for the whole world during their meeting. Children fellowship is very important in BCS because of the position they occupy before God. They are innocent and pure in heart they are always called upon to offer prayers if there is any difficult situation and God answer their prayers always. During their meeting they are taught how to pray, how to sing, how to read the bible, memory verses from the Holy Bible, They are taught good manners, respect to one another and self-discipline and reverence to God. The executive who are mostly adult arranges and take them out on ministry work to distribute tracts or house to house ministry.
Elders Fellowship
Elders Fellowship is another important fellowship in BCS. They are regarded as the pillars in the Bethel. They work hand-in hand with the executive of the General Fellowship to see about the smooth running of the Bethel. They hold their meeting every Thursday after evening service. Their discussion is mostly about the maintenance of the Bethel and the welfare of the members. They also raise funds towards the upkeep of the Bethel. They are always on the fore front of evangelising the world.
Missionary Crusade Fellowship
Missionary Crusade Fellowship is a very important fellowship in BCS because their duty is that of propagating the word of God every day everywhere in the world. They use all means of communications to see that the word of God reaches everybody in the whole world. They are those who devote their time and resources to see that the word of God penetrates into all nooks and crannies of the world. They have their meeting once in a month, however, every Sunday Morning they have devotional service which they all confess their sins and pray together to God to direct them where they should go on ministry that day. God always speaks to direct them where they are going and what they should do. All fellowships in BCS have as their basic aim to preach the word of God to all nations of the world.
Welfare Fellowship
Welfare Fellowship is another important fellowship in BCS they have their meeting once in a month. This fellowship has important role to do in the families of the members. They act as peace makers if there is any misunderstanding in the families by intervening between the couple to see that there is peace and unity in the family. Apart from the family problems they see that there is perfect peace in the Bethel. They as well visit those who are sick at home or in the hospital, pray for them and provide for them the basic necessity of life. They help them in their domestic work at home especially those who are sick and weak or the elderly.
Education Fellowship
Education Fellowship as the name implies sees about the education of the members and the establishment of Brotherhood schools. It also has scholarship Board which sees about fund raising for brilliant students who have nobody to sponsor them. This fellowship works hand in hand with the department of education in the country where Brotherhood school is established.
Labour Fellowship
Labour Fellowship is responsible for creating employment to members. BCS owns farms, constructing company, laundry and sewing industry. The aim is to give employment to members. Members are encouraged to practise “common purse” bringing all resources together and form a big company to have a large turnover to be able to employ many people.
Lawyers Fellowship
Members who are lawyers were advised by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu to establish Lawyers Fellowship as he is the originator of all other fellowships: The aim is unity of purpose in everything we do as it is said unity is strength. If all lawyers in BCS come together and establish a firm, the growth of the firm will be very rapid and will have branches all over the world. They will be able to help the members who have cases which require a lawyer. At the mean time this has not fully manifested but the lawyers in Brotherhood are very co-operative in any event happening in BCS they give full support either in representation or in advice to the party concern. They are very much involved in the work of evangelism.
The above list of fellowships in BCS is not exhaustive. There are other operational fellowships, some of which convene more frequently than others during the course of a calendar year.
